I’m developing a twitter based php web application. I’ve found a really smart API to use with Twitter: Twitter-async.
Twitter-async is a high performance wrapper for Twitter’s OAuth API which provides parallel/asynchronous calls. Is developed by Jaisen Mathai.
Everything works perfectly, until i’ve tested everything behind an http proxy (squid).
The problem is about curl library: you have to pass it your proxy credentials.
So… i’ve modified Jaisen’s library adding a new method: setHttpProxy().
$Twitter = new EpiTwitter($consumerKey, $consumerSecret);
$Twitter->setHttpProxy(“http://10.101.0.12”, “3128”, ‘mysoc\zmaker’, “mypass”);
And everything works… (i hope!).
